Dr. Chandra Prakash is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering, SVNIT, Surat Gujarat, India.
Before that he was working as Assistant Professor in National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi). Dr. Chandra Prakash is 2010 alumni of Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Gwalior, India, from there he pursued B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Information Technology (IT). Dr. Prakash received the Ph.D. degrees in Machine Learning from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, India, in 2018. Prior to NIT Delhi he served in Department of Information Technology at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University New Delhi. Dr. Prakash has teaching and research experience of over 12 years. He is the founder of the Computational Intelligence and Smart Motion Robotics (CISMR) research group.
His areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Motion Analysis, Reinforcement Learning, Computational Neuroscience, Gait Analysis in healthcare, Biometrics (Gait & Face Recognition) and Natural Language Processing.
Dr. Prakash has two patents and authored more than 51 publications in refereed journals, book chapters, and conferences. Currently he is the Principal investigator (PI) of a SERB sponsored project. He is a recipient of six Best Paper at different international conferences. He is a recipient of the scholarship as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST Funded Project, the Lord of the Code Scholarship from RedHat and the IIT Bombay.
